HOW DID YOU GET INTO PICKLEBALL?
I used to love playing ping pong with my family. One of my cousins, Arnold, told me to give pickleball a try. It took about a year but thankfully I finally came around to it. I found a secondhand set off of Craigslist, went straight to the courts, and was immediately hooked.
DO YOU HAVE AN ART BACKGROUND?
Yes! I graduated from Parsons School of Design with a BFA in Illustration. For over ten years, I worked in advertising for a pre-press photo retouching shop in New York.
WHERE DID ALL GOOD PICKLEBALL COME FROM?
During the pandemic, I decided to go full time with my fine art. Soon after, I also started playing pickleball. What began as a passion project born out of a love for art and pickleball turned into a thriving community that continues to grow worldwide.
It has become a sort of mantra to not dwell on mistakes, especially when you play with new people. We welcome players of all ages and all skill levels. It's all good!
